Ship Builds & Load Outs Viper Mk IV Viper Mk IV Combat built - some advice needed :)

a little update here from me:

i have now over 5 weeks playing time, a fleet of 12 ships including 4 pythons, one anaconda and a federal corvette, am a pilot in the earth defense fleet, unlocked all important engineers besides broo tarquin and the colonia engis and have my combat python almost fully engineered to g5(all multicannons), kicking asses with it in medium conflict zones with a ship kill rate between 7-10 ships(max was 13), master in combat, tycoon in trading and pioneer in exploration.

the point is, my dear viper mk4 didnt get much more flight time and is chilling in the garage for a while now. but when i am done with my corvette project, i will engineer the hell out of the viper and put some pacifiers or railguns on. as soon as i get to that, i will make an update here with a coriolis link :)

Yeah I suppose that's kinda typical for Elite gameplay -- first players advance to bigger ships very quickly, stay there a while, and then when they are saturated and get bored they go all the way back to the small ships they didn't spend much time in during their starting phase.
It's also "normal" I guess, because those small ships aren't really very useful without heavy engineering.
