Virpil CM3 throttle and voice attack

Hi,

Would it be possible to use Voice attack to change the modes out on the throttle without touching the 5 way mode switch on the throttle?

probably I would have thought so but as I do not own a cm3 I have no idea what modes you have currently bound to said switch...……….
it even had the ability to tell the wife "cant you put the rubbish out just once!" so not to be underestimated the scowel I received was priceless
as needless to say she did not comply but like Lorrial it was worth it :ROFLMAO:

I'm also curious about what you mean by "change the modes out on the throttle". If you've programmed modes directly via VPC Configurator, I don't believe you can change them with external inputs. To the best of my knowledge, Virpil devices only accept external inputs for changing LED colors.

There's a 5 way mode switch on the CM3 throttle. I have programmed vjoy and joystick gremlin to add 'more' buttons. I'm using up to 7 virtual joysticks. I have also a virpil panel #1 for additional buttons. This panel is connected to the cm3 throttle...working as one unit. So, with each mode being used in turn, I have a lot of buttons to use. I was wondering if Voice attack can be used to 'switch' modes verbally. I'm interested in if this can be done to some extent.

What you need is a way to change Joystick Gremlin modes with voice attack. Based on your description, you aren't actually changing modes "on the throttle". The throttle is changing Joystick Gremlin modes. You should look into controlling Joystick Gremlin with voice attack.

ya so your first set of adittional commands within your current ED va profile will obviously(new command) be set that program not elite as the target window for those commands then possibly use record your actions with possibly a bit of tailoring to mimic what you do to change your mode within that programs window "mode1" for eg being the spoken command and say something text to speech as a confirmation eg "mode1 activated or it could be a sound you have recorded
