Virtual Desktop settings and other problema

Newbie Question: I bought via Steam VD long ago and I've not used it before . Now I saw on YT that this a good app for the Meta Quest 3 but they say that I not have to use Steam only the Oculus app and VD.
But how can I seperate the Program from Steam? And follwing problem: how do I get the following settings screen. It is not visible. I pushed every button and there is no manual. The FAQ does also not answer this. (see attached)

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe that the Steam version of Virtual Desktop is a separate version from the Oculus/Meta version of Virtual Desktop. If I understand your question correctly, you can't "separate" the Steam version; you will need to purchase the Oculus/Meta version of VD to use it with a Quest headset.
The screen in your image would be found in the Oculus/Meta version of VD, so same answer to both questions really.

In short, you need to buy the Oculus/Meta version of VD; the Steam version doesn't work with Quest headsets.
