If they did it, it would just be another procedural generated galaxy like the one we already have.

And the one we have already needs a lot more fleshing out with interesting things to do.

I'd rather they add any new content ideas to THIS galaxy, instead of spreading it even thinner.

It's as if you had an entire workshop with one hammer in it, we don't need more workshops, we need more tools.

I'd rather see other parts of the milky populated, with different civilizations and ships etc. Would be a lot more exciting to go out exploring then.

FWIW, I also think the FPS addition is beyond the scope of the game but that was promised, I suppose.

I'm just a glutton for space...I always want more and can't help thinking that 400 billion stars is a small number. Another example, what if you could find a cold and dying galaxy where almost all the elements have been fused into heavy metals. Could be neat, even if you could only visit a system or two.

Interesting? perhaps.. Fun? not so much A galaxy pretty much populated by black holes, neutron stars, and white dwarves where your only guidling light is the nebulous remnants of supernovae, talk about playing minesweeper on a cosmic scale.

Gotta admit that would really put the Danger in Elite Dangerous.
