Visited Systems not showing as such

Hi Commanders,

Since recently i've noticed that systems i've visited, are no longer shown as visited.
Just came back to the Bubble after a trip to Colonia and Saggitarius A.
Saggitarius and the other systems in it's neighborhood no longer shows as visited, but i can visit the system maps...

Anyone else notice this as well?

Hi Chivas Regal,

I’m not sure but I think that has always been that way for me, I have only managed to retrace short routes using the grey dashed lines.

If you mean the red dot marking (not visited) and blue dot marking (visited) chosen on the GalMap ''what to display bullet points'' ... then yes they are totally borked. They will show only a random selection of blue dots for your visited systems.... totally random and completely inaccurate. I no longer bother with ''show visited/not visited systems''... I used to take some satisfaction on turning all the red dots to blue but no longer... whats the point? Recently in the Witch Head Sector I visited and surveyed nearly 200 systems... nearly the entire Sector was turned to blue dots... I logged out then back in..... I went back to the Sector and the GalMap showed only two.... TWO! systems as (Blue Dot) visited.....red dots EVERYWHERE!! ..... and just like the OP I had access to ALL the system's maps just as if I HAD visited every system...which of course I had! .... meh...

For the purposes of the galaxy map filter, your record of visited systems is stored locally. If you change machines or clear your saved data they won't show on the map filter anymore.
The systems you've visited are still stored on Frontier's servers, so you can still open the systems' system map.
I assume this is to optimise galaxy map speed

Thanks for the replies, Yeah, the Red and Blue dot markings, when turning on the 'Visited Systems' filter in the Galaxy Map.
Just 'made' all the inhabited systems around Maia Blue. Scanned the Systems with the FSS. It's still 'visited' after several relogs... Funny... Seems to be random...
