once you read this, I'm already gone to unveil the secret.
But let me start at the beginning: I got my hands on an old artifact from Earth, seems to be some really crappy data storage thing. I was hardly able to make this thing work at all, and after putting a lot of effort into this, I was able to read a few chunks of data. Most of it seemed to be completely useless, but I found this list of pulsars on it: http://www.atnf.csiro.au/research/p...ale=linear&y_axis=&y_scale=linear&state=query
While you might think this is just an ordinary list of pulsars from the year 2000 and something, I think, no actually I'm sure, this contains a secret. Many of the stars on list don't seem to exist on my starmap. What happened to them? Did they just go away? Is there some knowledge of our ancestors from 1000 years ago we lost by today? Or is the government hiding these places from us? If so for what reason?
So this afternoon I decided to visit the pulsars that are as well on the galactic map as on my list. Probably I can find some hints there. I won't return to civilized space unless I unveiled this secret, neither governments nor anybody else shall stop me. But if I die in outer space, even if it looks like an accident, you know what happened....
I can imagine some of you might just think "Uh, what a weirdo" but I know I'm onto something, this is actually the reason for me to post this after I left. I will give updates now and then about my forthcoming, especially about the pulsars I visited currently.
