Visitor Beacons drive me nuts?

Passenger adventure tourist mission:
7 first class pax with 3 Destinations. 100ly, 220 and 250 ly and going back again. 2.3 mil.
Well, plenty of effort for that amount of credits. Anyway, I thought, my first pax mission, give it a try.
Finally, reaching last Dest., no mission update info. I was honking with ADS, plus checking the Nav beacon: "Data scan complete." NIL. What now? Hence, I gave in and started checking planet after planet. Finally, Heureka, I have found it! A visitor beacon.
What's the verdict? It is very time consuming, Not funny at all, if you need to look for a publicly known tourist attraction, namely a visitor beacon. I will not do it again.

Question:
Is there anything I have missed, any secret to those missions?

Looks to me like a fix is really needed.

Thanks for posting this. I was considering trying a passenger mission, but being ED, I knew there had to be some that would make it not worth the bother. Thanks for saving me the time of finding out firsthand. I'll stick to cargo.

Strange, whenever I dropped out of SC, and scanned the nav beacon, the visitor beacon always showed up in the left window as a targetable place.
Compromised nav beacon on the other hand....

OP, I've really no idea if visitor beacons drive you nuts or not. Your thread subject has a question mark but it does look very much like a question.

Either way, I hope you eventually find out your answer.

You know, you shouldnt always trust strangers on the internet...

You have a wide variety of passenger missions. If you like cargo A->B, you can go for Passenger bulk.

Transaction screen shows the body name, beacon appears upon approaching in your navigation tab.

Bugged missions are bugged.

Thanks for the help. Yes, I have checked the Transaction Tab. Target Body was still the previous Dest.(Origin). Sorry, I have forgotten to mention that. Before checking planet after planet, I have honked, Nav beacon, Nav panel with Contacts and Transaction Tab(Mission), Comm Panel, System Map.
