I've been working on this idea, as many zoos have visitor centers with educational material, information, restrooms, and other concessions. It's made to be placed over a gridded 4x4 section of path and has room in the middle to leave space for an exhibit. Putting the exhibit in advance makes it hard to get the thing properly aligned with a gridded path though. I'm doing a North America theme, but I'm not happy with the roof. I've been experimenting with double glass doors too, and had a heck of a time finding something to use for the handles and hinges.
The only issue seems to be guests occasionally getting stuck in that endless pivot thing and having to be moved.
