I dont know if its because of Fallout but i really like the 50s style it has, because i would love to have instead of a hologram for the left panel where you have contacts and navigation, to have a terminal similar to either Fallout's terminal or just an old style computer. of course the mods will have to have Frontiers approval for concept and then they could make it... and im sure this has been brought up many times before, but it would be so good. because the only customizing you can do other than buy paint jobs is change the colour of the HUD.

Personalised cockpits, paint schemes and other seem to figure highly on many players lists. I wouldn't be seen dead with a bobblehead or flashing cockpit lightsin my Python. Ugh.
But, it grates a little, every ship's GUI being the same; I agree with you - would be great to have different ships with varying cockpit instrumentation, even if its just cosmetic.
However, given there's no mod support, it'll be a while, if at all.
