Hi all
Has anyone figured out the whole reprojection thing, i.e., what setting is the best, when using Vive?
I have found that using Asynchronous only significantly improves the experience (smoothness) when looking at far away objects, e.g., stars, planets, asteroids, other ships. However, when looking at nearby objects you will notice a very annoying jidder, e.g., looking at the flightstick and cockpit in general. Activating interleaved improves the feel of the cockpit, alas objects far away will jidder a lot.
Far away objects are the most important, thus only asynchronous is active, however it's a shame that the cockpit jidders
Does this behaviour depend on some graphical setting, and/or is there an optimal combination for a specific graphical setting?
Settings: SteamVR SS = 1.4, Game SS = 1.0, Game HD = 1.25,
System: I7-6770, 1070GTX. Colorado Craft Brew, e.g., Modus Hoperandi.
