Vive controllers necessary ?

Hello, I have a Vive Pro without Vive controllers i.e. only mouse/keyboard and joystick. Is this enough to set up Elite Dangerous and play or do I need a Vive controller to navigate through menus and run the game ?

Hi Fran,

You do not need any Vive contollers to play Elite Dangerous; they don't actually work with the game. Xbox 360 or X52 Hotas controls are probably more compatible.

Buuut don't you need the vive controllers for the initial room setup?

My gut says no. If you configure as standing only, I’m 99% sure that’s done via mouse and keyboard on the desktop.
