Yeah I was holding out for the specs to be released on it and it's fairly underwhelming.


Edit Actually, that's not entirely true. I don't necessarily like the halo headband, but then I've also never used one and only have my CV1 to reference. I do like the on-ear headphones, I'm very interested in the wireless adapter, and I like that it can will be able to use inside-out and lighthouse tracking, though that's of little concern for something like Elite.

Finger tracking?

for eg. Instead of for looking right at the control panel and then scrolling through the options with your controller you just look and select the virtual button with your hand by pointing.

I'm quite interested in this system as the Index is not available in NZ. Anyone seen any info on how compatible with Elite it is?

i can use it without wearing reading glasses, and with voice attack , it quite awesome, he next thing is , how to to disable the panels from auto on when looking at it?

The Vive Cosmos has only 9% more pixels than the Vive Pro and the Valve Index and the Vive Pro is terrible image quality. The Index is much better image quality but still far lower resolution than the Reverb.
