Lol, yeah no thanks. Maybe OK for some kind of commercial setting, but not many gamers are gonna spend that. Not when an odyssey is almost as good and costs $400. I had a DK2, played exclusively on a CV1 until aroud 2 weeks ago when I got an odyssey, which I don't regret at all. And I have backed a 5k pimax, but the odyssey has me happy for now. Pimax doesn't claim the retail cost for the 8k yet have they? It shouldn't be hard for them to stay below $1400 and grab market share, assuming it gets good reviews when it goes fully live.

Whilst the Pro is expensive, my annual costs have plummeted since moving to VR, I was upgrading multi screens at least once a year, 3 brand new 40" + screens was not cheap. Think I've spent around £900 in total since moving to VR back in 2014

I bought my triple screens 5 years ago and only recently decided to go single 4k.
