Vive setup for ED?

Sorry likely not the first person to ask these questions, and will not be the last. As after looking for "Vive setup" find nothing in forum :(

Ok question time.

1. Is there a guide for Vive setup for ED on forum?

2. I have Steam VR working fine. But ED not installed in Steam, runs from good old Launcher. So possible to run ED in VR with this setup, if so how?

3. If I have to move ED to Steam before it will work. Is it possible to point steam at already downloaded version I have? Or am I download yet another version of the game.

Yes I know there are problems with setup and res, but just would like to see ED working in VR.

No need to launch ED from Steam. Make sure SteamVR is active, then just launch normally from the Frontier Launcher, and set the 3D under graphics to HMD with Earphones (assuming you're using the earphones).

Then be blown away.

Yes I think I see your point.

I assume there is nothing you can do about position of head as not in correct place. As Graphics would look a hell of a lot better if I was looking from the right POV.
And what makes it COMPLETELY unplayable, is that I use mouse and keyboard and POV of ship seems to face away from computer (Odd). Assume no way to change this?
So I can fly ship fine with mouse and keyboard in VR but having to turn my 45 degrees so I look out front of ship is a pain (literally).
