Vive, SteamVR, Built-in mic: help me set it up!

Hello fellow Commanders. Yesterday for the first time in 280 hrs of playtime, I winged up with somebody. He was merrily voice chatting, but I couldn't make my voice be heard.

I'm using a Vive, SteamVR and want to use the built-in mic of the Vive.

Where do I have to set which settings in order to voicechat with my wingmates?

I want to use push-to-talk because I often talk to my wife or kids while flying and I don't want that to broadcast.

There is a setting for toggle\hold and I think you can get this work as a hold to unmute with is basically PTT.

I just use discord but of course hard to invite people to your Discord from inside the game.
