[Vive]View of planets warp when turning head

So I decided to try Elite in VR again after a long break. First thing I notice is planets are changing scale when turning my head. It's not a big amount, but very noticeable. It's like they change size/zoom towards me when they get further from the center of vision.
The interior of ship seem to be unaffected and galaxy backdrop also.

Anyone else notice this?

No head/movement based scale issues, no, and I planet/star gaze often on approach to RES/Station/etc. If it's been a few months, and I assume you've updated to 2.2, maybe set all the gfx settings back to default and tune it for the Vive again

I reset the gfx settings, restarted elite and steam vr, and it seems to have helped. I can't replicate the effect. Perhaps I was a bit quick to post this thread

There's still a bit of distortion at the edge of vision, but that's just nitpicking, it's always been like that.

thx

Sounds like pupil swim, fine tune your IPD / eye relief / position on face / angle up-down. When you get it 100% in the zone, all of those problems vanish. I used to have similar problems on the Rift, and now I don't :)

Glad you got it sorted out.

Apart from the disappearing tiles on the edges of the planets as you look towards or away from them at the edge of the screens, no issue with scaling.
