Vive Wireless. Yay.ish..

So after a country wide shortage of the wireless adapter mine finally today! Easy to set up, less than five minutes. Probably need to get a new mobo as the positioning of the PCIe slot isn't ideal but at least it's all working :D

The downside? Waiting for the battery to charge. Apparently it takes 8-10 hours to charge. Anyone had any experience with this?

Wait till you see the ~30% performance hit.

A quick 15 minute test with Dead Effect 2 VR, and I'm happy. No noticeable artifacts or dropped frames. Just the long recharge time ;)

Cool, that can be fixed with Anker powerbank if I'm not mistaken... Or two, for the time where you forget to load one or you burn through them on particularly interesting skyrim session.

One thing with wireless, I think I need a bigger room... trying to dodge bullets in SuperHot VR and instead end up trying to dodge furniture and whatnot..
