VKB and Kosmosima Grip : Anyone using ?

Burned thru three T16000's in the past two years. The first two got sloppy and increasingly had problems returning to center, and the third got the dreaded "twist" issue. I bit the bullet and bought a Gladiator with the Kosmosima grip, something I feel will last. Had a bit of trouble getting it working, but I am very happy now. Tech support is very good. I'm also a VR gamer and a poor touch typist, so a HOTAS is the only thing that will work.

This new stick is so smooth, accurate, and 'good' I don't know how I managed without it. If you're on the fence, or purchasing your second/third/fourth cheap stick, go for it. I've spent more on cheap stuff that broke or wore out, then on this one piece that will last for years and is actually repairable.

Anyway : I'm at a bit of a loss with the new toy.. I have 32 "buttons" and I have so many options I don't know which to choose. I have one hat mapped to the menus, one mapped to the thrusters for up/down/right/left, and the third for power management ( mirroring the arrow keys ). Then the typical triggers for primary/secondary weapons.

But then there are the buttons on the base, and programmable macros, and mode shifts to double button functions. I think I might like one thing, but two days later I decide to re-map for something better. It's kind of like 'forum disease' , I find myself spending more time tinkering with controls and mappings then I do actually playing the game.

If you are using this setup, what do you have mapped ? What worked for you ? What didn't ?
