I have voice attack installed and it was all working fine when I used it. I then updated my bindings using the VA built in configurator IIRC. This put my keys all "alt shift button" presses etc. This seems a bit complicated and I cant get the keys to work. What is the sequence when it says press three keys to activate something? Do you press them all at the same time or in order 123? I only ask because they dont seem to be working for me? I am trying to use the camera as it does the least harm but it wont work. What am I missing?

Was this done by a HCS voicepack configurator? I had some binds added by that a while ago (things that were previously only on a button) but it never added a three-key combo - just two keys - left shift plus a key for example.
I am trying to remember what actually did it but I am fairly sure that it was VA that changed my bindings. I dont have anything else in play that would have done it. I think I can remember pressing the button to update the key bindings but despite looking atm I cant find where it was. It didnt do it when I first installed VA it was done later. I cant find the configurator option to update key bindings which is very frustrating.
So it was done by a HCS Voicepack Configurator.
The binds in that image are a complete nightmare - have you got an old set to go back to and try to resurrect the game? Also might be worth reporting that nonsense on the HCS forum - it shouldn't do that - "left alt + right alt + num 3" - what a load of jobbie!
I deleted the bindings file that I mentioned and the went into the game and selected x56saitek from the drop down. This seems to have resotred the bindings for my hotas without all the mumbo jumbo from before but strangely there is no additonal file in the bindings location in the ED folders for my x56 saitek. How do I get it to create one or is it not necessary?

keybindings can reset if you visit the control section without one of your usual devices used to play the game ie hotas , xbox pad etc not plugged in or at that present moment is undetected by windows as it thinks your just using keyboard and mouse it simply rewrites your binds for you...
... You could be seriously glad of doing the renaming outlined in there.
start VA say protocol override customise my settings. tab will open. do a missing key check. or just regen new keys.
