Voice attack, how do I un mute the Mike?

Voice attack's mike icon is red, and when I hover the mouse over it it says no signal/mic muted.
any ideas guys?
this only happened after I connected the Vive headset.

You need to select the mic you want to use in windows. When you plugged in the vive it changed to the vive mic input so you need to change the windows settings back again.

the Vive Mike works when I use the speech recognition training in Windows 10.
i tried changing the Mike in Windows, but no luck
