voice attack issue silent running

so the silient running command was changed to "protocol override silent running on / off" yep i see the reasoning for that. inadvertant silient running is very dangerous.

my respense was to make a "go silent " command which calls the silent running routine. to start with it worked.

now i get "please initialise the system before issuing commands" theres a couple of other commands that do this too.

i had a quick look for an initilize commands routine and i havent found one. yet.

anyone come across this? i;m using the elite logititech x3d profile.

Is this with hcs voicepacks?

I don't recall changing that command at all over the last 2 years.... (or editing that code connected to it)

Unfortunately due to the way it is coded you can't just hook your own functions in to features of the packs as there's a lot more behind the scenes.

However, if you use the voice trigger editor, you simply change the phrase that is spoken if you are OK with the risk.... Far easier....

Accessible via the customiser.

Note. If you pop to our discord there's loads of help available from the support team and volunteers.

no.... i dont use the hcs packs anymore. ive got it working by simply editing my command to use the keypress but its clumsy. no vairable check to see if silent running is already on or off.

because the wording "protocol override silent running on/off" is one of our voice commands... (which DOES have a state check on it as to whether it is on or off...)
But if you DO use them again - you CAN just edit the voice trigger if you want using the customiser.

Well - voiceattack doesn't COME with voice commands - it's effectively a programming language for you to create your own control schemas

Those commands are what you pay for with the HCS packs - over 3000 commands (and over 40,000 variants of those commands), plus the journal reader, keybind reader, extended features and of course all the voice responses... ;-)

Close to 2 million lines of code now

If you get stuck, the HCS Discord is a great place for help.
The HCS youtube channel has some handy guides on sorting keybinds etc using our tools... as well as configuring it to recognise fire groups and much more

can i copy commands from hcs singularity to the profile i usually use
how?
nope. though you can "include commands from another profile" if you've got your own - run Singularity then include your own. HOWEVER - make sure they don't clash
NOTE: Singularity has ALL functions from the game included, so you shouldn't need to unless it's some kind of funky combo for your own use
