Voice Attack not working thru Steam launcher

Hello Commanders

I've just redeemed my free Steam key (thanks very much FD) and installed. All is well except Voice Attack, which appears to accept my commands but the associated keyboard presses are not happening in game. I haven't changed anything. Eg, 'Gear Up' is set to keystroke 'L'. VA recognises the command but the game does not. I physically press L and it works.

If I revert back to the original FD launcher rather than Steam VA works just fine.

Any ideas?

Strange. Mine's working fine. I copied the original installation folder into the Steamapps folder to save redownloading it, started the game up, it detected the files and played just fine with Voiceattack working normally

I didn't do that. I just let it fully download and install.
