Voice Attack & Phantom Button Presses

So I am currently trying to do a massive trip on Elite and thought I would use voice attack, so off I went and purchased it along with Orion from HCS.

I know some people have issues with Phantom button presses on the X55 Rhino, but I never really suffered from and when I did it was because I updated to the latest drivers for the X55 which was resolved by just rolling them back.

Since installing Voice Attack I am constantly getting issues such as the galaxy map opening, reverse thrust being selected, nav panel opening etc

I also at some point want to get a rift or a vive so it would be easier having this working.

This only happens with Voice attack installed anyone got any ideas as I have ordered a Powered USB 3 Hub this one to be exact and hopefully that will help but if it doesn't then what would be your first port of call?

I get it with VA too... I don't think it has anything to do with your stick.
VA can be a little sensitive. To the extent that the problem goes away completely if I turn the mic off. Yet with it on it's hard to keep a target locked as even the slightest noise outside 2 streets away will be interpreted as "Target Ahead".

if it's gone when you kill your mic then it's VA.

You can see all the translated noise on VA,.. I get a lot of mic clips translated as 'up', 'and', 'end' etc. so I personally use a long keyword/phrase for my va commands like 'landing gear please' instead of just 'gear'..

and I dont trust boost to VA..

Have you tried adjusting the confidence levels as well as ensuring your phrases are at least 2 or 3 words long?

I was on an assassination mission. It took me forever to find the target. I finally found him, and in relief said to myself "Ah he's the one". VA then engaged my "run" macro, so it put my weapons away and boosted me off the field. Luckily, it didn't know how to interpret the expletives that followed. Moral of the story: Always use unambiguous, clear key-words. A sequence of two words is always better than one.
