Voice Attack - Which Pack ?

Been watching these vids on voice attack lately and now convinced. What i would like to know is about the packs you can download. My eye is on the Astra one, but still not sure yet.
Some of the vids ive seen, you can ask about the universe (star type etc), which one is that ?
Also there is a "Personal Resposes" add on for the Astra pack, what is that ?
Any help and recommendations would be appreciated.

While the voice packs are nice, they are prerecorded audio, meaning you cannot add your own without it being in the text to speech voice, so a mix of the two sounds odd.
Personally I downloaded the tts voice (en-CA, Heather), feels fairly close to ingame voice, though yes, different, and it allows me to customize exactly what is said.
That said I have heard that there are tts voices that are even better but cannot find them.

The add-on packs are cool but as Xondk stated they are pre-recorded. Voice-to-text is much more personal. I have the Astra pack. The personal add-on pack will supply you with personalized messages but they, also, are pre-recorded. You send in a e-mail with the responses you desire and the Dev will record those responses and send you a personalized pack. But again, Voice-to-text is much better and more personal. I use Ivona voice-to-text with the voice of "Amy". The Amy voice sounds exactly like the voice used in the "Astra add-on pack" except the Astra pack adds some kind of reverb or echo to the voice. It sounds much better without the echo..

I think i might take Doris for now, but later will look into Ivona TTS.

Still in the phase of setting everything up (training voice etc.), will let u know how i feel later.

I have ASTRA and Leo.

I use ASTRA but only have responses on a few of my commands. Ive been through the profile and culled all the encyclopedia entries and anything I dont use - I got annoyed with accidentally triggering one of her long response. i even ran with one command called "shut up" which played a 1 second mp3 with no sound in it, before i just got rid of all the things I dont need.

The voice packs are great, and are a real novelty at first, but after a while it just became annoying so I have hardly any responses now. Ive even turned the ship voice alerts more or less completely off, only keeping a few of the more important alerts.

Hey,

I would suggest buying a nice voice online. I got one from Cerevoice for somewhere around 25 euros. That way you can customize it all to your liking.

Same as me ,just setting things ,alot to do ..Angle Rose (Kate Russel) she looking to set up a how to do video
