Voice Attack

Right before I picked up the game, I saw in a video Voice Attack. At that time, I thought that Elite had a in ship voice recognition AI of sorts to utilize ship commands. MAN! What a feature this would be! This is fantastic! After spending some lengthy time with controls, I find out this wasn't so and it was a 3rd party application.

Seriously thinking about picking this up but this would be such a great feature if Elite had it. I don't believe it would be too difficult to include such a feature.

it a bit late and my brain is fried from too many cargo runs but i think i remember something about that being the plan for the future, or at the very least 'something they would like to include'

IIRC it was in a newsletter in response to a mostly harmless question.

Its possible but not probabaly that FD will include voice control as there are cheaper solutions already in the market place.

Nevertheless, with all the HOTAS joystick combos, Oculus Rift DK2 and head trackers that you can burn cash on. IMHO, the best £4 you will spend to help enhance this, and any other game you play, will be Voice Attack!
