Voice Comms Background Noise

Is it just me (and my wingmates) or is the background generated static so bad now, when no one speaks its appauling and its hard to get a balance using the audio options. These are hitech ships with AM sideband radios ! I also notice when in the fighter when i take damage the crackle gets doubled. Odd since you are flying the fighter from the main ship remote so any damage should not impact my wing comms.

It seems much worse since the last few versions. Is it just the 4 of us or are others seeing the same ? thx

But yes .. read the release notes from the last one or two updates .. its been increased. It adds ambiance. Like the train that runs through your small town everynight at 2m ... you'll filter it out in a week or two.

OCD .... I have CDO. Its an advanced case of OCD where even the letters need to be in order!
Growing up, like many kids I had lexdysxia, there is a mother's support group that have kids with lexdyxia ... its called -> DAM, mothers against dyslexia.

I’m far less bothered by the background static then I am by people who use Open Mic.

Not that I don’t get a good laugh at hearing girlfriends harping about when they’ll get their time with whomever is at then helm, or your little brother getting a butt whooping for breaking whatever he broke, or listening to you listening to Masked Singer - But I really don’t want to hear it. Push to Talk is your friend and mine.
