Hardware & Technical VoiceAttack XML Error

I'm trying to use KICS 4 (source code: https://github.com/mwerle/KICS ) and whenever I try to add the .vap, it says "Error loading profile data. [There is an error in XML document (75, 12).]" Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you have the latest version of voice attack.
the version for download on the site is v1.5.8
