Void Opal Cores Spawn Mechanics?

Having mined dozens of Void Opal Cores out of ICY Ring Void Opal Hotspots, I believe I see some patterns on how they are spawned by the game's mechanics but need some verification.

So, a few things I have noticed..

1) VOs are not actually (literally) just physically placed waiting for you to find them (or not) in the roid field, but they are randomly spawned in by the game on the edge of your Ping detection.
2) The "Spawn in" of VOs appears to have a set of dependent background simulation parameters.. here is where it gets interesting..
The game's VO "Spawn in" function seems tied to THREE things

a) The amount of Time elapsed since you Cashed in your last VO's at a station.
b) The amount of time elapsed since your last VO find and mining in the field.
c) The total amount of VO cores you have recently discovered and mined.

If a,b have been a long time, i.e since yesterday, and you have c=0 recent mined VOs, the Game Simulation VO spawn will be set to "YES", the probability of a VO spawn goes the highest level and you will see them fairly quick. Even within the first minute of scans.

If "a" is short, even if b and c are zero.. i.e you are returning after cashing out a big haul.. The probability of a VO spawn goes wayy down. maybee not to zero but possibly.

If "a" is long.. ie, it's been a day since you last cashed in some VOs, and you already mined your first VO of the day.. a SECOND VO will come up very shortly. In this situation the VOs seem to come always in 2s. YOu will see two within a short time of one another.

If "a" is long.. (as above), you found your first two VO's... then the third and consecutive VO's go down dramatically on the probably of finding them. You "can" find 3, 4, or more but the spawn in probably drops. There is also a bit of randomization factor where the the probability could drop to ZERO. This means, it dosen't matter if you spend 3 hours pinging you won't find another VO. Untill the game's mechanics are reset.

How are the a,b,c resent then? Well.. it seems to some degree, "b" can possibly be reset by going to different hot spots in the same ring, or perhaps even going out far enough via hypercruise then re-entering.
I don't think "a", or "c" can be reset as easily and may just take some X amount of time.

So, I believe those are the general cause and effects as I have noticed them. Though, I of course am not sure the specifics the weighted algorithm FD did for the VO spawn ins. It could be a mixture of probability and randomization which is what I suspect. One thing I am for 100% certain is that these VO's are Spawned and not "just there".. I also know if the games spawn in flag has been set to zero (which it does).. you ain't finding didly!!! You could spend five hours, but if the game has locked you out by seeing you recently cashed in a huge haul or found your fith opal core.. that's it.. you are done for time being. Don't try to fight it, you'll just waist time.

I am trying to get a handle and insight on FD's VO spawn in algorithm so I can capitalize on $$ and minimize wasted time.

Well, I am pretty confident in the spawn in aspect of Opal Cores... getting a handle on cause and effect is what I am fishing at.
When pinging, there is a Two part shading animation after the ping. The second part of roid shading is where the game determines the "spawn" of VO core.
Any Roid can go from Bright yellow to a black core shaded Core, it's determined by the game's probability engine.
If the game determines you have low to zero probability of finding a core, you are better off not fighting it.
It's however not as easy as flying out then back via frame shift to reset the probability negatives because that will end up spawning pirates.

It's definitely not truly Random.. that much I am certain. There are other parameters at play in determining the probability of the game spawning a VO core to you.

I tend to agree with the OP..heres why:
I spent several hours in my python hunting VO in several hot spots.. did not find a single Fissure Roid.. logged out at said hotspot, logged in a day later continued hunt.. nix nada.. zilch.. tried going to a system out in the black...went to a pristine icy ring 20 minutes away from star.. no one will have mined this one.. spent an hour.. nix, nada, zilch... !! Now in up to here I had not been back to my base station for three days, just logging out in situ.
Thought about the OP's abc theory... trucked back to my base.. swapped my Python for my Krait II miner.. shut game down, logged back in.. headed to my normal VO hotspot.. and wella... 5 VO roids in the first 15 minutes. Cool. Sold them, back to my based swapped ships and still getting VO.. So yes I agree with the OP.
