Volume of the SRV scanner - louder please!!!

I know this has been (sort of) asked for before, but can we have the SRV scanner's audio feedback kept proportionate to the ambient noise?

Being forced to stop every so often to listen to the rather quiet squeakings and screechings gets a bit frustrating, and I'd hope this isn't too hard to fix.

I totally agree, make the scanner much louder, and if it is to loud, you can always lower the volume in settings, instead of today having hardly hearing it at max settings.

there was a volume slider bar in settings at one point for the SVR scanners, its been removed.
put it back... simples :)

I do not know what platform you are on, but on PC, there is still Audio volume slider called "Wave scanner volume" under Audio options, and this has very little to no effect on the wave scanner sound level.

Also agreed.

We are in space, on a planetoid with no atmosphere(there isn't even anything to carry soundwaves), and the crunching of the surface dirt engine noise, and srv suspension is louder than the sonar blips that are coming from inside our helmets. On the real world, that'd be our cue that we need new ear buds.

My personal preference would be visual cues anyway, following sound blips hasn't been something I've enjoyed in the first place.

I agree - the wavescanner audio really does need to have a higher volume. The dev's statement that they want us to have to slow down so as to hear the scanner is insulting. - If they want us to have to travel slowly for prospecting, why increase the icon display range by a factor of 5 to give 250m? - Get consistent or get smart and fix the audio level.
