Vonarburg Co-operative station in Wyrd

The Wyrd system is a rich, high poulation Agricultural economy, with a communist government. It's only starport 'Vonarburg Co-operative' is an O'Neill Cylinder type spaceport in orbit around Way, the only inhabitable planet of the system. The starport is very well maintained and quite luxurious sporting a tropical climate, even having palm-trees lining the landing pads of the docking bay.

Just had to share these screens, I really like this starport!

Been there , was nice.
A thriving economy , but not really that much going on in terms of combat.

Lovely pics, how on Earth do you manage to get pics without some part of your ship superstructure or menus in the way? All my pics end up with a large part of the window in it...

Vulcan- when you move your head (look up, 'Free look' mode I believe it is called)) some craft have a more open area to view thru. No struts in the way. Also, if you take a high rez screenshot you can edit the photo and crop to a clear area.
But for the most part, if you get into free head look mode you can view things pretty clearly in most ships.

This rich station looks awesome. Would be nicer with artificial beaches and lakes.

It's odd that they're so wealthy with a communist government, unless it's like China where they deregulated their economy and opened it up to the world which allowed rapid economic growth and rise in prosperity. Only their political system is still a bureaucratic communist dictatorship.

If I remember right they have the largest population of the Beta 1 available systems at 27M. All that tax money might have something to do with the PG making that station so expensive, lovely, and shiny clean.

Finally got a ship that will get here and if you look it does have small lakes with beaches and oddly piers.

I hope there are many more of these out there as it looks wonderful. Great work FD

The colour of the landing pad marker confused me first time I went there. I thought my gtx card was glitching!

Pi Fang has a posh station as well.....

I also spotted one of those style stations without the habitation rings somewhere, and a coriolis with long sticky out bits.
So there is a it of variety appearing already
