Yeah,they would have better ideas for what the community wants to see in the game[yesnod][up].

I'm not sure if they will look into doing something like that (particularly for updates). They can normally get some idea from what is popular on the Workshop for example.

Yes,but with this they could set an example for other game publishers. They already have the best community in the game business,with this ther community also has direct influence over the content coming to the game,which would be,as far as i know, the first time in gaming history[wink]

Well, EA did something like this once for the Sims 4. Eco living was the winner (which I chose too). What did we end up with? ---> a laundry day pack [wacky] [uhh]
(result of the final subsequent vote)

No fear of something like that happening in a planco vote though

IDK. That sounds like a good way to start arguments.

I don't think that Frontier is going to organise votes and/or polls to see which rides are most popular to be developed next. That will no doubt result in a back and forth fight between opinions about which suggestion/ride is more important than other suggestions/rides.

Can be tried once, to see at first if it's a good idea

they let us vote back when the game was new, or at least they made it seem that way. I remember voting for which ride to be released for the first winter update, but eventually they added all of them

The logistics for doing a poll that fairly samples the playerbase is really tricky. Considering the reaction here when they did a poll (that didn't even affect anything) on facebook. Probably not a good idea.

I agree. It would lead to many discussions. People making duplicate accounts to vote and so on.

No, they should stick to their current method:

- Make suggestions
- Frontier picks the ones that are doable.

From a developer's perspective it is better to keep control in your own hands and listen to the requests but make your own decisions.

I suspect if they were ever to do this, they would choose very specific things that they know are possible within the time frame for us to choose between

Yes. And then nightmare of choosing the place to do poll. This forums, reddit, twitter, facebook, and hmm? Too many places. And with their track record of being very secretive they aren't too keen on letting on info early and then make people angry about changing or not doing. So I think it is easy to say that they won't do polls.
But they do listen to us. In the end we got our Schwarzkopf. (ok, getting. technically.)
