Vote for Elite (Virgin Media Gaming EGX stand)

It seems to have been up a couple of days now, without all that many total votes. I only noticed it because I was reading Eurogamer and saw Elite: Dangerous in the sidebar.

It really sucks that we have to vote for one. I'm honestly really torn because I'm as much a VR enthusiast as an Elite: Dangerous fan.

The funny thing is, I really think both Elite: Dangerous and the Oculus Rift would benefit immensely from both being presented at the same time. From what I've heard, even on the flawed DK1 Rift, Elite is currently one the best experiences you can have on it and is an incredible preview of what's to come.

This. It is a little bit strange that Oculus insists on using EVE Valkyrie as their demo game.

Yup I agree. If any game right now out there should showcase OR and 'presence' - ED should be the way to go imo ;)

In any case, I've put my vote in (for ED!).

EvE is probably easier to pick up and play, and lends itself to 3 minute demos. Elite is a game to get lost in for a couple of hours at a time...
