Voyager 1 and 2

I actually just visited Voyager 1 two days ago. About a half hour in Supercruise to the spot. I followed along with a YouTube video from Ghost Giraffe.

We used to be able to pick up voyager 1 on sensors from Sol, is that not the case anymore? Only visited once and it wasn't difficult to find, also don't remember having to SC for half an hour. All this was around 2 years ago.

Nope, you have be within 1000ls of it now. And don't forget, it's still moving.

I found Voyager 1 recently:

So yeah it is possible.
Just make sure to get the approx. distance, then align the "10:30 star", then have a scope about for the POI.

Eventually I expect one of them to gain sentience, make a gigantic cloud ship, and return to Earth looking for its creator.

What about the Mariner probes? There should still be a few of these drifting about as well. Sure, they were never featured in a Sci-Fi movie, but we still got a few of them to work too.

Or an Alien that looks alot like Jeff Bridges will visit the Earth as an emissary after finding the Golden record only to be shot down by U.S jet fighters.

he will discover that he loves apple pie and Karen Allen's cherry pie.

Starman.

I have a weakness for 70's/80's Sci-fi. Starman is one of my Favs.

They even made a single season TV series based around the child born of the relationship shown in the movie.

Does anyone know if once discovered they then appear in your nav panel anywhere in system like sites such as Davs Hope?
Or do you always need to do the needle in a haystack?
