VR and mouse out of screen

Hi guys.

I have a problem while playing Elite in VR with keyboard and mouse.
First: I have a HOTAS, but my room is quite small, so my desktop doesn't have enough space to place it in a comfortable way. HOTAS is discarded as play system.

Now, the problem: I feel quite comfortable playing with mouse and keyboard, but when I play in VR mode, the game is launched in window mode (even if I choose full screen) and sometimes the mouse reaches an outside the window position. If I click the window border or the PC desktop, the mouse buttons stop working.
This is a huge problem when I do some combat, because it happens a lot >__<

Is there any fix or option so the mouse stays inside the game window?

Have you tried changing it from Windowed to full screen after launching the game? I thought this what I did (but it's been awhile)

Is this with Vive or Rift? Because for me with the Rift the mouse pointer is locked inside the mirror window and the only way to unlock it is to alt-tab.

Windows Mixed Reality, sorry guys :)

I've tried to change it to full screen after launching the game and now It's working.
Thanks for the idea, I was pretty sure I've tried this before, but... nope.

Yes this happens to me all the time with rift too. Especially on srv where my turret is controlled by mouse, if I move it too much my mouse will go beyond the screen and stop working. I haven’t found a way to start the game always in full screen.

I have the same problem. i have to change to borderless every time i start in VR. Would be nice to have a launch option like "-borderless" to force the game to that mode. Changing it every time gets old pretty quick.

great advise and it solves the issue BUT you have to change to full screen every single time you launch ED!
if the devs read this please make this setting stick and as an added bonus don't render the game to the main screen...

this is what I have to do everytime I start ED because for some reason it still won't save and reset back to Windowed.

Lol then please, tell us how you did.

I just returned and I can't get fullscreen to stick between launches. Terrible, especially on srv where I use mouse for turret.
