I don't know if this has been posted here, but I didn't see it. In any case, stumbled across this news this morning.
It would seem that Microprose, the creators of two B-17 games, are now working on their successor, a VR version of the Mighty 8th Game. It is to be VR and multiplayer. I expect that if it's anything like it's predecessor, you will get to walk around the inside of the 17, man all positions, manually crank flaps and/or wheels and fly all aircraft, even German. We Elite players may not get walk around our own ships, but it looks like we might get to walk around a simulated B-17. I'm certainly looking forward to this.
