Vr concerns

I currently play ed horizons which I purchased through steam. I have pre purchased oddessy through steam, today I was looking at the Oculus site and I was informed that vr is not going to be totally supported, is this true as I play horizons in vr only. It would seem like back pedalling to go back to the monitor.

Hopefully there will be a solution to the VR issue. Just don't plan on anything at launch. I will be waiting for the solution before I purchase the update.

I've already paid for it too, I may install it but stay with horizons for a few months and see if there's an update for vr later.

In ship and SRV vr will function as normal. After you select the disembark option you will be able to either remove your vr headset and play as normal on a flatscreen monitor or continue to use the vr headset and play on a sort of cinema style screen within the headset itself.
