VR Expert help wanted, what have i done to alter my view?

So, last night i was mucking around with settings etc then went to bed, ridiculously late again after watching the ryder cup and then going into space 'for an hour'.

I'm not sure what setting i have altered but today, in the rift, the image is incredibly clear, far clearer than i have had it up to now, however, it's not right. hard to explain, but when i move (lean forward, lean to the left/right to get a closer look at a panel) the panel moves away, i don't get closer. cockpit too moves with me. it's incredibly nauseating.

Anyone have an idea what setting i have altered to invoke that?

Are you sure it's moving away and not just staying in the same place? Could be your camera isn't tracking.. Check in the Rift setup.

definitely not staying in same place. the whole cockpit moves with me. i don't have a 'fixed' point as i had yesterday, if i move forward, the whole cockpit moves with me not just my head.

You were absolutely right, camera lost tracking. all sorted now, sadly the image quality isn't as crisp as it was though, lol.... thought something wan't quite right, shame though, because i'd never seen Elite looking so crisp in the rift!! thanks for the help :)
