General VR, HOTAS and lack of Keybindings, any help on the issue would be great.

I fly in VR so everything that I use is bound to my stick throttle and pedals, I've always wanted to be able to turn off a weapon or two without switching fire groups, when things got a little sticky. Doesn't happen as much now that I drive a Cutter but it still happens when I have multiple interdiction's from missions and when it's mainly Condas jumping in. Thought I'd have been able to bind a weapon to one of my Warthogs rocker switches that could enabled-disabled that weapon at will.

Also Thrust Vectoring would be good, bind the engines to each of my throttles and then be able to turn quicker. Putting one in reverse and one forwards to give me -1 second of turn time.

This can't be done. There is only one keybind for the fwd thrusters. Some ship has got an odd number of thrusters (Krait Phantom for example) so it wouldn't work.

There's no keybind for a specific weapon only. But there are binds for specific accessories (heat sinks, ECM, chaffs, shield cells for example).
So my suggestion would be to get rid of all these accessories from the fire groups and map them on specific keys, so your fire groups are cleaner and you make less confusion.

Of course it can be done, DCS Warthog can do it - and that's just an Aeroplane and not a SPACESHIP !

Oh but then again Warthog does have a real world filght model, realistic cockpit, realistic weather conditions, atmospheric landings, AND a FULL ON MULTIPLAYER WAR going on under the hood, so perhaps they are just SUPERIOR PROGRAMMERS.

If a ship has one Engine then fine don't have it work, if it has two then great, 3 or more then make it just the main engines.

Personally, I'd rather have a keybind so that when in SC in a ship with a SCA mounted and a station selected as target, I could just push a button to enable the SCA instead of having to go to the left menu, scroll, search, realize the filters, turn them of, find the station, enable SCA, and find that in the meantime I passed the station.

Perhaps that is the main reason why I rarely use SCA, and it also taught me that the freed up module slot could be used for something else, leading me to ditch the ADC as well. It's actually a lot more fun (for me) to just fly manually. My point is that if you accept the game with all its limitations, and accept that once in a while Fdev throws some new snack at you, then the game becomes much more enjoyable, and it is enjoyable :)
