To clarify, HMD and SS are at 2.0. I am running the game through ED profiler. Not sure how i pulled this off...
System specs:
Motherboard - ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4
Memory - G.skill 32GB 2133 9 -10 - 10 - 28
GPU - EVA 1080
CPU - i7 3770k OC'd to 4.6
SSD - Samsung 250 GB
Air cooled - Noctua nh-16
I used MSI Afterburner to record temps, usage, and frame rate. I did all my testing corkscrewing around a station and docking/taking off 10 minutes at a time.
Temps: All cores below 60c
Usage: CPU never goes higher than 60%, GPU never higher than 80%.
FPS: 87 FPS + 99% of the time.
Over a period of 10 minutes i will get ~2 intervals of 8 seconds each where FPS is 40 FPS. Nothing is out of the ordinary as far as i can tell. I think my memory isnt feeding enough data to my GPU. Honestly, i have no idea how this is all working to begin with. It took me 2 days of OCing but my first impressions of the Oculus is stunning.
It seems too good to be true....
