Hi,
I've spent half an hour this morning trying to find answers on the web and have yet to find anything conclusive. I'm hoping you good folk can help shed some light on something.
My POV in VR, when reset to what feels like a good natural position, occasionally clips into the seat headrest when I'm looking around, most of the time in combat situations when I'm busy trying to follow someone more manoevarable than me. I think it might have been Project Cars 2 that had a VR setting to prevent drawing items in immediate proximity to the eye-point to prevent this sort of thing. I've not seen a setting within ED for this, could it be a text override like in the Graphics Override file?
Or has this yet to be a thing for ED?
Admittedly, I see similar threads where many have posted comments like "I've never had this problem" and "Sit further forwards". While these may both be valid solutions for those offering them, I suspect it's very much a case of 'Mileage may vary" since I definitley do get occasional clipping and the eyepoint is fine where it is until I begin to turn my head towards my shoulders or look upwards. To have have the eyepoint further forwards would be like having eyes on stalks.
I suspect that there is not (yet) anything like this but i figured it's worth double checking, especially since there's a lot of very clever souls in this community.
Thanks in advance,
Rob.
