VR screenshots and videos

Screen shots taken while using a OR can be viewed through the DK2 by opening an image viewer on the rift screen and viewed at full screen. Videos can be viewed the same way.

I'm not at my gaming system (nightstand laptop now) or I'd post up some for others to see and experience. I'd love to see others stuff, if you're inclined to share. I'll post some tomorrow.

That is cool what viewer are you using? Looks like firefox is making a 3d browser https://nightly.mozilla.org/

Whatever came with Win 8.1, for videos I use VLC in full screen. It may be a bit before I can get to my gaming system.

Open in MS paint and convert to .jpeg by saving as and then changing the file type to jpeg.

Should bring the filesize under a megabyte.

Im desperate to find a way to get stadard format 1080p screenshots while using the rift. The only way I seem to have is to use the auxiliary screen but that makes me take a serious hit in performance.

It would be great if by pressing F10 the game could just temporarily render a 1080p shot for the pic...

I have searched and searched also, best I have found is a shader for OBS.
