VR Spectator's

Is it doable? I'd like to have my brother watch. Im thinking it's kinda like a mirrored displays except thru another HMD, but no clue.

Anyone?

I’ve never heard of mirroring a person’s POV into another headset - I would imagine that would be a total vomitfest for the spectator!

Are you talking about a live 360 video feed sort of thing? The nearest I think you could do is get a cheap second account and multicrew up.

It certainly could be painful for the spectator if I were like 9, a totally self-absorbed, booger eating idiot, trying to show off in combat. Fortunately I'm none of those things and the last thing i'd do is combat. But yeah, allow a family member to experience the immersiveness of it without having to know anything about the game.

I thought about multi-crew too, but that'd require a complete 2nd rig...vr and all

No. Every head movement you make would make the 'spectator' want to vomit. Careful, considerate flight wouldn't make any difference. I guess the reason you can't do what you are asking about is because it's such a bad idea.

Maybe using multicrew and a second account: At least then you're in control.
I boosted and piloted around an asteroid field using the window on the monitor to fly, while my kid had the headset on.
I just had to keep asking them to look straight ahead so I could ensure I wasn't on a collision-course. :D
It actually worked OK, but it would be hard to dock/fight/mine like that.
