VR stutter

Hello, I am noticing micro stutter when driving in the srv and on initial jump into systems.
Last time I played was about a year ago and that was with a 2080ti/ V1 reverb, didn't have this issue.
Any help would be appreciated. I have it locked at 45fps via steam vr setting forced reprojection.
I have tried the lowest settings all the way up to ultra, (stutter no matter what). While driving srv, "low vr" setting nets about 45% gpu usage
and "ultra" nets about 80% usage so the gpu isn't being overtaxed.

intel 9900k
evga 3090
reverb g2

sam1tb m.2

Wasn’t there a VR driver problem with the 3xxx series cards?

I started seeing complaints late last year, but it thought NVIDIA had solved it last month in a driver hotfix. I’d love to have the problem but I’m not willing to pay ludicrous scalper prices 😅

Thanks for the info, ill keep trying things. Maybe roll back the driver, windows game mode has no effect either.

Yeah the market is crazy, I was lucky enough that I was a evga elite member and they started selling the cards to members that selected the "notify me" on a first come basis. So I only had to wait about 3 weeks for the 3090 after launch.

Ok still no luck. The FX setting made no difference. I actually tried all the graphics settings 2 at a time, no change. Tried a different mouse for grins, rolled back the gfx driver. No dice. Any ideas?

I don't know if you've done the same search I have but here is another one. You may have more luck posting in the relevant section for answers.
