I also enjoy getting up and pacing across the bridge whenever my AspX was heading towards a distant secondary star to do some scanning. Safe enough to do once you're far from the Bubble.

I enjoy standing by the chair, as I approach something in my new Asp. Standing there and observing, I feel like the captain of a larger [multicrew] ship and I'm just walking the deck, keeping an eye on my crew. Kind of like this guy:

Go to Baker's Prospect in Asellus Primus and pretend your Viper Mk. III is a helicopter - turn flight assist off and use your vertical and lateral thrusters to fly between and through the nooks and crannies, do circle strafes round newbie CMDRs and to cruise over the crater floor like you're in an episode of Blue Thunder.
