Ships Vulture - Can you do anything other than fight?

Not flown a Vulture at all.

Thinking about getting one to try out but wondering if it can actually do anything other than fight?

Been playing with Coriolos but I'm not sure I can get viable fits for anything else.

Anyone got other fits than just combat for this scavenger bird of a ship?

it's a good mission runner, if you fit a class 4 shield and a class 5 cargo rack, instead of the other way around. standard missions are generated up 15 ly range, so neither jumprange nor fueltanksize play a role here. fit a srv and you have an avid lander. fit a collector, and don't be afraid on those black box missions.

there are also some vulture explorers out there. its mental manouverability makes scanning whole systems much faster than an AspE or conda... if scanning whole systems is something you like.

For all their faults, that's the beauty of engineers: every ship can be tuned to do a bit more than its original niche. The G5 FSD range and various Lightweight mods in particular, turn a lot of tediously limited heavy ships into very decent bubble-runners.
