Day 14 for me now..30 odd mil to max out a Vulture.more than I was expecting..& they keep moving the top spec weapons!
Imagine if they did that with your favourite Dominos pizza..sorry mate you'll have to try the franchise in the next town, we don't do pepperoni passion now..That would wind me up proper!

Just making a point to Frontier..after all it's only the 31st century or something! Who could dream of a system to find where to get something without going there first!

Anyone who is interested..as of today:

GD 219 has class 3 gimballed beams

LTT 7548 has class 3 gimballed bursts

..be warned tho, careful wot u wish 4! They're both thirstier than an Irishman on a Friday night

Yes, they're both thirsty. Fighting with C3 Beams requires a slightly different fighting style. Rather than worrying about hitting my target 100% of the time, I focus on getting solid, continuous hits until the cap drains. By that time, my target has usually moved out of range, requiring me to reposition. During those times, I wouldn't be able to hit my target whether I was using pulse, burst, or beam. Result: Beams are not always thirsty because they're not meant to be used like your car's accelerator peddle - always on or always off.

Using gimballed pulse on my, thirst is easily managed and they kill fast enough. worth a try if you have'nt already

True enough, they kill fast enough. With a full cap and 4 pips to weapons, a Sidewinder goes boom in one full pass. An Eagle takes a 2nd pass. A Cobra takes 3 passes. Clipper, Dropship, and Python shields usually drop in 1 full pass.
