Vulture Load Out - Trimming Down the Thruster?

You can fit 5d to that loadout which will give you far better thrust to mass ratio. Offline the FSD, Fuel Scoop and cargo hatch when deploying weps.

So I've been fooling around with the Elite Shipyard to find an optimal load out for my Vulture.

I decided to size down the thrusters to 4As - optimal mass is still well within the margin and I've been wondering if anyone else has tried this?

I'd have to travel quite a bit to the Founder's World and would be interested in your opinions or experiences with this.

I did this with my Python. Instead of 6A I chose 5A.

Top speed suffered a small bit compared to 6D but handling seemed to be a little better. The handling is pretty subjective though, there wasn't a HUGE difference.

In the vulture, I'd probably just run with the 5D for power and weight savings.
