Vulture Loadout for BH

Hey Guys,

after a long time, i want to restart my BH experience. i thought i give the Vulture a shot. I tried to loadout it via Coriolis, but i seems i never have enough Power. Maybe i dont know something about the Power Management?

I'm realy happy if someone can make a Loadout and share it with me. If it goes over the 100% Power, please tell me why this is no Problem ;)

Power is an issue with the vulture. I found a single gimbled pulse laser and a fixed beam to be quite effective. Use the beam sparingly to bring down shields or when your target chaffs. The pulse you should be able to use constantly (with A rated power plan and distributor) and a class 3 will do significant damage to shields, hull and subsystems.

As for going over 100% power, this is ok if you have some of your subsystems set to a lower priority. You can happily have things like your cargo hatch, frames shift drive, frame shift interdictor, fuel scoop etc. shut down when you deploy weapons, as you won't be needing them in combat.

I prefer to go for best thrusters moderate shields and 'weaker' weapons. In a vulture you can only really choose 1 out of three to max.

You are probably better off checking the ships of elite sub though there are a lot of vulture builds there.

Set cargo hatch, FSD, AFMU, fuel scoop and FSD interdictor to lower priorities, then you should be good to go. Also, switch out the APA for a regular plasma accelerator if you wish.

Got one on my FAS.. 10 shot salve in one cap drain with 4 pips.
its a monster i tell ya.. its the main reason the thargoids havent come yet.

The reason for the mention of switching it out is that not everyone has an APA available. :D Personally, I've got 8 or so stored on various ships, along with other assorted Powerplay-weapons.

Me to, hudsons space shotgun and some chinese packhounds.. but love the APA the most. And its making my mates quite jelly haha

On deploy the cargo hatch, fsd, fuel scoop and OA shield booster go offline, power is right at 15.55/15.60. The reason for the OA shield booster is if I get ganked or bite off more than I can chew I boost out retract and as long as my shields are up I increase them by 20%, this has saved my butt many times.
Weapons retracted everything powered up I'm right at 15.27/15.60 with 838 armor and 511 MJ shields @ 376.5 weight so she is very agile, boost 395 she has hit 397. The OA shield booster on board gives her not only a good offensive nature but also a good defensive nature on those occasions when you need it.
The twin point defense's come in handy now with so many ships running rockets, they fire off a lot nailing any rockets near me.
I do not run chaff, when I tuck and run and the OA SB comes online, its up to my flying skill to protect me, and since 2.1 hit, I have yet to have to rebuy.
Wanted to add:
OP since you have been gone for awhile, the ships use a lot of Chaff now versus pre 2.1 to get around that grab them by their belt, either right under them or right behind them, with a gimbled weapon it doesn't matter your so close you can spit on them, that's the beauty of the Vulture with A thrusters.

Two large multicannons works well on a Vulture. They cut through shields quick enough, don't use much power and two pips to weapons is usually enough.
 
Get an grade 3 overcharged power plant and go to outfitting and roll your face back and forth on the keyboard for 15 minutes and you should have a good BH set up.

As said i dont look into them. Is The Dweller still the right engineer for it? He isnt listed for Power Plants. But Hera Tani, Felicity Farseeker and Marco Qwent. How did they differ from another?

I'm working on the power plant upgrade to have more than 25 mins of fun (I need to disable life support, feels like I'm flying a combat jet :D), A grade the SCB and use a SB instead of the second heatsink, I only use 2 (one offline) because the B grade SCB has 5 charges.
The idea is to never let your shields go down! Use the superior agility (use the FA off toggle, overboost and vertical thrusters) to stay out of your opponent arc of fire and rain death using it's overcharged MC and PA (working on the rapid fire mod).

Very easy on the capacitor, so you can keep it in ENG most of the time, or SYS if you can't get out of a joust against smaller ships.
If you lose shields, run.
 
Think you will like the build gmarth, only exception I see you changed from my load out was going twin gimbled MC's. They are great, with a reservation, pre 2.1 you could attack at ease whereas now in the res sites you are sniping the local police for kills and MC's can get you into trouble fast, esp if one of the police runs into your trailing fire, or even worse someone you aren't hunting runs into your trailing fire. That's immediate "wanted", status. I only use the MC when I am extremely up close and personal, like right underneath them, any other time they are just to dangerous when you have 4-5 cops attacking a wanted and you have to slip in and out gun them for the kill.
