Ship Builds & Load Outs Vulture Outfitting - Please criticise/suggest improvements for BH in HIRES set up

Hi,

I've been playing for a while but just back into Elite after 5 months off and trying to learn how to do things properly. I'm aware that my outfitting could be improved but not sure where so am looking for advice. I mainly BH in Res so not in need of wake scanning/FSD interdictor.

I tried using a cell bank but apart from raising my temp it didn't seem to do anything so I need to read more and then try again.

Thanks for your help.

The Vultures limited power capacity can limit load out choices but I'd suggest adding some HRP's and additional larger shield boosters with a 5C shield (or a 5C Bi-Weave for faster regen), if you want even stronger shields you'll to overcharge the power plant at an Engineers base.

I don't use shield cells myself but they need to be used before the shields fail (say at one ring) and they have an activation time before they charge up the shields.

This is fairly close to my own Vultures build

Thank you, that is exactly what I was after.

I've since added another shield booster but notice so you have 2 x A in there compared to my C's. By dropping my sensors from A to D like you I can also drop my power usage and only reduce my range by 1.68. Add the SG drop from 5B to 5C I now have a shield size of 475 compared to my original 407 and I haven't even played with the point defence or HRP.

Thank you.

swapping your 5C shields for 5C Biweave shields will drop strength from 475 MJ to 441 MJ
but will give you faster recharging

I can suggest you this one here :)

The weapons loadout is absolute optional. Take whatever you want. I have tryed 2x beams, 1x beam + 1x MC, only kinetics, plasma...etc
But this is the loadout where i stay atm and that works very very good ;)
Make a grade 1 overcharge PP for best result to get the powerdistributor back to energy priority 1 but otherwise nothing to say.

Of course you can engineer the hell out of her if you have the patience but imo she isn't worth engineering. Save dat for an FDL, the Vulture is in stock already superior ;)
