Vulture: slow shield recharge

I just bought a Vulture and immediatly took it out for some fights. After a duell with an Anaconda i noticed that my shields are recharging really slow. Even after that it took a long time until they were at full strenght. I have an A5 Shield Generator, an A5 Power Distributor and no Shield Boosters. It was also odd to see, that my SYS reservoir could be substained with just one pip while the regeneration. I cant really tell if this is a bug or a feature...

Have you ever flown a high shield ship before Binary? Edit: Not being sarcastic or rude here, but if you compare a 100 shield to a 300 one, the 300 just takes 3x longer to reset its as simple as that the ship size/distributor don't make them regen any faster.

It's because it has really big shields, about the same as a Python. And the sys capacitor thing you mention is a feature (your PD is so strong it's more than enough to keep up).

Ignore the shield rating,it boils down to how strong the default shield strength is,and in the vultures case its pretty high.
Lose shields in an Anaconda and it takes several minutes to recharge

I have flown an asp before. A5 Shield Generator, A4 Power Distributor. I know it has about half of the shield strenght of the vulture. Nethertheless it seems slow even if half the time. It also bothers me, that the shield doesnt draw much power from SYS, and when i compare the numbers, the higher power distributor doesnt give that much more recharge...
